Healthy Weight Gold

OK, I’m one of those who’ve tried it all. But I can’t say enough good about Healthy Weight Gold. Watching Dr. Oz one afternoon and hearing him and his reports on this product made a lot of sense. Being of the “baby boom” age, things are beginning to slow down a bit! Trying to stay up with what I need to do and who I want to be is exhausting. I’m not “old”, but I’m not that young anymore. I’m one who can not take so called diet pills. Got to admit, ephedrine almost killed me years ago. Heart raced, shallow breathing, could not breath, light headed…not a good choice in life. I’m very cautious of of any kind of supplements I take any more because of my high blood pressure! BANG, when he said it helps in lowering blood pressure, the interest was intense.
Let me see if I can put into words what Dr. Oz was saying about one of the supplements called 7-Keto which is found in Healthy Weight Gold. I ordered just the 7-Keto supplement on that day. Dr. Oz was saying that as we age, our metabolism slows down. And I think we can all agree on that! But the wonderful thing about 7-Keto is that it pushes back your metabolism to where it was in your 20′s. And holds it there! Skeptical as I began the 7-Keto and within say 4-5 days of taking I could tell a very nice subtle change. I did have more energy, was not in any way wired or fidgety. My appetite was not raging, put my husband on it immediately. He too loved it. Doing a little more research on the Healthy Weight Gold as he mentioned, I said why not. So I order it about 2 months ago. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!

I’m just the average woman, a little fluffy around the middle :) and always fighting it. I tell my girls I’m a size 8 but size 10 feels so good I buy size 12. Just a little humor thrown in there. After two months and not changing a whole lot in my diet, other than making sure I get the right amount of water each day I’m down 10 pounds! Looking forward to a cruise next summer even more now.

I hope my little journey about Healthy Weight Gold can inspire you also. I realize this has nothing to do with crochet, but I do sit on my tush a lot doing that! Thanks for stopping by at How To Crochet A Beanie.

Great Garden Gnomes

Great Garden Gnomes

Great Garden Gnomes all have their own facial expressions, personality and a special place in your garden and your heart. My love of Great Garden Gnomes stems from when I lived in Germany.  The tall handsome gentleman on the right is my grandfather,  next to him my grandmother, next to her holding the baby is my mother holding my aunt.
As a small child, my “Opa”, grandfather in german had a fairytale land in his garden. His structures and gnomes, all hand painted. All the little homes they lived in were created from his imagination. The mushrooms, painted in the brilliant red with the white polka dots are still a favorite of mine today.  I so wish these pictures were in color, but they are still precious.   I believe the first picture of some of his Great Garden Gnomes is of “Prince Charming” and the one directly below is of “Hansel and Gretel”.

I have a collection of Great Garden Gnomes and I’ve got to say my latest one has to be my favorite!  Meet Fredster. He just says it all as he “bows” to his audience!

Great Garden Gnomes

Great Garden Gnomes

Great Garden Gnomes first showed up in Germany around 1800, know as “der Gartenzwerg”. Used as a decorative item, it is said to give good luck to those if displayed in their gardens. There are several types of Great Garden Gnomes.

  • The “Worker” gnome, usually equipped with hammers, axes and various other tools.
  • The “Leisure” gnome,  usually in a relaxed position enjoying life in general…such as Fredster!
  • The “Culture” gnome, usually showing off his knowledge with books or instruments.
  • The “Classic” gnome, usually wearing a red hat and always wearing a smile.

My oldest daughter, as long as I can remember said that my gnomes always scared her.  I can’t relate to that because of all my wonderful childhood memories.  But I’m slowly but surely turning her to the “dark” side and sneeking them into her garden one at a time.  She told me the other day how much she’s enjoying them because they remind her of me.  It must be working. :)

Then of course my love of crochet, I found these little critters that i’ve added to my house plants.
